The spiritual war is a struggle between the good spirits (righteous) and evil spirits (wicked). The righteous want the essential truths about life to be exposed, and the wicked want the essential truths to be hidden. If you don't believe in scriptures, you will not accept the spiritual war. You might see evidence of the spiritual war, if you ever participate in political/religious debates. Spirits control every living being in this world (including government leaders and their minions).
